Privacy notice

Information under Articles 13 and 14 GDPR (DSGVO)

Short version: the only personal data we ask for is your email address, and only if you choose to join the early-access list. We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking or advertising. This page explains the details.

2. What we collect, why, and on what legal basis

a) Early-access sign-up. If you submit the form, we process your email address to add you to the MatchLedger early-access list and to contact you about the product and its validation. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time (see section 6); withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

b) Visiting the site. When you open this page, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data (such as IP address, browser type, date and time of the request) in server log files, so the site can be delivered securely and reliably. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in secure, stable operation, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Who receives the data (processors and third parties)

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf. Some are located in the USA; those transfers are safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

• Formspree, Inc. (USA) — receives and stores your form submission (your email) so it can be delivered to us. Formspree privacy policy.
• Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — hosts this website (Cloudflare Pages) and routes email for our domain; processes server-log/technical data. Cloudflare privacy policy.
• Google (Gmail) — our mailbox provider; when you or we send email, the correspondence is stored there.

We do not sell your data and do not pass it to anyone other than the providers named above for the stated purposes.

4. No cookies, no tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising tools. The typeface is self-hosted on our own domain, so no data is sent to Google Fonts or any external font service when you visit.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your email address until the early-access phase ends, until you ask us to delete it, or until you withdraw consent — whichever comes first. Server log data is kept only short-term by the hosting provider for security purposes.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data (Art. 15), and to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] — a plain message is enough.

7. Right to complain

If you believe your data is not handled lawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority:
